Fifty Shades the children’s book??????????

My husband and I went grocery shopping this evening and to our surprise, we discovered that Fifty Shades, Dan Brown and Sylvia Day are now available in the children’s section.

Gosh, I hope they’re not illustrated. Β *Cringe*

  1. Hmm, it’s got to be a stocking mistake. Good grief. Kids don’t need to grow up any faster than they do already.

  2. When I used to shop at Borders Bookstore the only place I found books concerning men’s rights just happened to be smack dab in the middle of books written about homosexuality – that is when I could find any books written about men’s rights on the shelf in the first place. So this doesn’t surprise me in the least and just one of the many reasons I only buy e books in the comfort of my own home off the internet.

  3. That is hysterical! Well as long as you’re not a mother trying to find a good book for your kids. I’ve had the same problem here several times, I find myself removing books by Sherrilyn Kenyon out of the children’s section all the time. It’s a testament to bad hiring.

    • Ha! Can you imagine that bedtime story? Sherrilyn Kenyon at least has a young adult series. But it’s still shouldn’t be in the children’s section. Amen on the hiring comment. πŸ™‚
